TV Settings Are Corrupt

If you have a model TVGuardian LT,  perform the following steps.
If at anytime you wish to return TVGuardian® to its original factory default settings, you may do so by following these steps:
• While the TV is on, unplug the power to the TVGuardian®, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in again.


If you have a model 501,  perform the following steps.
If at anytime you wish to return TVG® to its original factory default settings, you may do so by following these steps:
• While the TV is on, unplug the power to the TVG®, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in again.


If you have a model 401,  perform the following steps (improved procedure replaces procedure shown in manual).
If at anytime you wish to return TVGuardian® to its original factory default settings, you may do so by following these steps:

1.    Disconnect the power to the TVGuardian® and wait 30 seconds. The next step may be a challenge.
2.    After the 30 seconds, grab the remote in one hand and start pressing the TVG button as fast as you can. While pressing the button (keep pressing it as fast as you can), use your other hand to reconnect the power to the TVGuardian®.
3.    Then keep pressing the TVG button 8 more times.

If that doesn’t fix the TVGuardian®, try resetting it up to 2 more times as necessary.


If you have a model 201 or 301, perform the following steps.
If at anytime you wish to return the TVGuardian® to its original factory default settings, you may do so by following these steps:
• While the TV is on, turn the power to TVGuardian® off by unplugging it and then plug it in again.
• When the title screen appears, press TVG on the remote 8 times in a row VERY QUICKLY.
• Within 5 seconds of being prompted, press SEL on the remote.
